20th Annual Rattlesnake Run Sunday, August 1, 2010. Starts at 7:30 AM sharp! This is a fun run in Griffith Park. The route includes the Griffith Observatory, Mt Hollywood, returning via Bronson Canyon. Mt Lee / Hollywood sign and the "Bat Caves" are optional.
Rock ‘n’ Roll Los Angeles Half Marathon Sunday, October 24, 2010. This course is formally the City of Angles ½ Marathon. Starting in Griffith Park near the Los Angeles Zoo, and takes runners past the Los Angeles River and Silverlake Reservoir, down Sunset Boulevard, past the edge of Echo Park Lake, and finishes in downtown Los Angeles.
LA Marathon
The annual LA marathon is coming up March 20, 2011. This is the 26th anniversary of the LA. The route will be similar to last year running from Dodger stadium to the sea. As usual we will have a number of Flyers attending.
2011-2012 LASAA MUG RUN SERIES Look for this in September
El Prieto Handicap 19th annual run Saturday, May 19, 2011. This is a point-to-point race. Handicaps are based on recent race times and workout data. Ideally all participants will finish at the same time. (Large amounts of money are also a factor.)
