Glendale Downtown Dash
Why we run this race:
In memory of our friend Darren Silversparre who passed away February 9, 2009 from a stroke. In his honor we created a team called "Darren's Flyers" to run in the Glendale Downtown Dash. It's a 5K course and the proceeds go to Glendale Adventist Hospital's stroke services. We know Darren would be out there running it if he could, since he can't, let's get out there in force for him and his memory!

Glendale Adventist has teamed up with the Downtown Glendale Merchants Association to bring you the Glendale News-Press Downtown Dash - a 5k run/walk through the heart of Glendale.
If you are interested in getting a running shirt with Darren's Flyers on the back to show your team support send me an email chuck@oshea.net If there is enough response I'll see what I can do. My guess is the price will be between $15 and $25 depending on the size of the order
